Prospectus for Temecula Art League Open Juried 2015 Art Show August 7, 2015
5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The Temecula Valley Art league open juried show will be at the Truax Building on the corner of Mercedes and Second street in Old Town.
Load in for judging, judging, pick up for entries not juried into the show and the show will all be on the same day, at the Truax Building in Old Town, where all the First Friday events take place. This is a First Friday event .
Judging date: August 7, 2015, take-in: 10am - 12pm, judging from 12pm - 2pm, pick up after judging time for art not juried into the show: 2:30pm - 4pm.
JUDGE TO BE ANNOUNCED!
You cannot be late for either one of these. The judge will be starting at 12pm sharp and there will be no more entries accepted. You must not be present for the judging. If you are not accepted you get a call after the judging to pickup your work. TVAL will not be responsible for the condition of any piece left behind.
Show will run from August 7, 5pm – 9pm. Your art is scheduled to be removed after the show ends that evening of August 7th, 2015!!
Open to all 2D artists, Water Media, Mixed Media, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Ink, Photography and pencil are allowed.
Sorry, there will be no 3D this year.
All artists must carry their own art insurance. TVAL or its volunteers do not assume any responsibility for any loss whatsoever, however incurred. Each artist will have to sign a release of liability and a short form with the information about the art for the back of each painting, when registering for the show.
Entry fee for members: $25.00 for the first piece of art and $10.00 for each additional piece up to 3 entries.
Entry fee for non-members: $30.00 for the first piece and $15.00 for each additional up to 3 entries.
Art must be dry and ready to hang, no saw tooth hangers. All art must be framed or canvas wrapped with painted sides. Each painting must have the artists name, telephone number, name of piece, price and medium on the back right corner.
Temecula Valley Art League gets 15% commission on any sales made during the show!
All entries must be presented professionally for the show!! Show only your best and good luck!
No size limits on large paintings except to not bring in one that takes up a whole wall. 48” wide or smaller is a good size.
Artist reception: Friday August 7th, 6 pm to 9 pm. Awards will be presented at 6:30 pm sharp.

FIRST PLACE: $100.00
SECOND PLACE: $75.00
THIRD PLACE: $50.00
THREE HONORABLE MENTIONS: $25.00 EACH
